State Leadership Conference for Chapter Leaders
State Leadership Conference for Chapter Leaders is a four-day conference that focuses on the member’s ability to lead not only themselves, but others. Chapter leaders who may or may not be serving in positions of leadership will learn from each other and state leaders about service, influence, community engagement and developing and executing a plan that leads to the success of more than just themselves. This conference is designed primarily for students entering 10th, 11th or 12th grade.
Participants will:

Assess teamwork and accountability practices and explore ways to build relationships and work effectively with people of all personalities and backgrounds.

Identify needs and opportunities to serve within their communities

Evaluate time management, organizational and planning skills and how they impact a leader's ability to be effective.

Define roles of a chapter leader and understand opportunities to take their chapter to the next level.

Meet leaders from throughout MN and share ideas to improve themselves and their chapters
Conference Details
When: July 21st-24th 2025
Registration begins with a 10:30 - 11:30 am registration and move in on day one of the conference with a noon lunch and programming beginning immediately after. Students travel home at 2:30 pm on day four.
Where: Deep Portage Conservation Reserve (2197 Nature Center Dr NW, Hackensack, MN 56452)
Who: FFA members in grades 10-12 are encouraged to attend.
Registration fee ($225/student) includes conference programming, supervision, materials, lodging, and meals.
Attendees will be invoiced upon registration through their FFA chapter.
Online waivers will be distributed via email to registered participants and must be submitted by July 7.
