State FFA Band
Application Due: February 28th, Applications will be live on Jan. 1 2025
All band activities will take place on the Minneapolis campus near 3M Arena. Students are responsible for their own transportation and meals unless indicated.
Tentative Schedule
Sunday April 27, 2025
Band students should be dropped off with their music and instruments by advisors at the Huntington Bank Stadium (directly across the street from 3M Arena at Mariucci).
5:00 – 7:00 P.M. - Band Rehearsal at Huntington Bank Stadium (this rehearsal will be for students whose chapters will be arriving on Sunday evening)
Note: Dinner on own at own expense. There are several options within a quick walk of the stadium and arena.
Monday, April 28, 2025
Students are responsible for arranging travel to Huntington Bank Stadium.
9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Band Rehearsal at Huntington Bank Stadium
2:30 pm – 3:00 pm – Band Sound Check (will begin as soon as Session 1 concludes)
4:00 pm – 4:45 pm – Dinner provided (sandwiches)
5:00 pm – 5:45 pm – Band/Chorus Performance
6:00 pm – Session 3 Band participants leave from 3M Arena at Mariucci with chapters.
Tuesday, April 29, 2025
10:00 – Band participants arrive at 3M Arena at Mariucci for warm up
10:30 – 11:00– Lunch provided for Band participants (pizza) around rehearsal and concert
11:15 am - Concert 3M Arena at Mariucci
12:15 pm – Session 5 - Students travel home with their chapters.
To participate in band, students should submit an application online.
There is a registration fee ($30) for students participating in band or chorus to cover the cost of meals/rentals and programming. Chapters will pay this fee through the convention registration. If band participants have dietary restrictions to dairy or gluten, please indicate that on the application.
